The Theory and Practice of Meditation - (Class Description)

This course is an overview of the use and practice of meditation to reduce stress and increase health and wellness. Different forms and purposes of meditation will be explored and daily meditation practice encouraged. Students will learn meditation for mindfulness, mantra, relaxation, stress reduction, energy healing, and centering. Many different types and forms of meditation will be explored and practiced.
